Serving the best rock and roll ever made, the Café Rock is celebrating our 25th year in Sacrametno. The Café Rock turns out people pleasing taste treats to the hard working men and women of the Eagle workforce. We have come a long way since our humble beginnings. We boast the cleanest restrooms in town, right next door at the gas station. Just a short walk from our salad bar. Join me, Chef Ptomaine, Betty Varicose and Sal Monella for this, our 25th year in Sacramento. Rock on!... Bob Keller, Proprietor.
CAFÉ ROCK: THE SAGA
The Café Rock opened it's doors for the first time in 1981. Our goal was to provide a noontime refuge for Sacramento's workforce, a place that offers a friendly atmosphere and the best rocknroll ever made. Our staff has been with us since the beginning, if you'd like to find out what makes our staff special click here. Our menu features those hard to get items like pork in a shoe and jackass jerky. We started out with just a modest 2 table restaurant and only one seat at the counter, mine. Since then we have expanded our dinning room, added a special birthday banquet room, and now, we proudly offer restrooms for both sexes. Since we are just minutes from all freeways, our diner is easy to get to from everywhere. We offer valet parking on those days when our busboy shows up, and many days we also offer free parking. If your not afraid of an occasional grease fire, or an insect that isn't readily identifiable, then the Café Rock will be your first choice for lunch time and time again. We have lots of regular and irregular customers who come in daily for fun, food, great music and lots of prizes. Stop in soon. 12 Noon-1pm daily, right here at 96.9 The Eagle with Bob Keller.
Fishead Friday
The Café Rock finishes off the workweek with Fishead Friday. It's a day when we salute our fine finned friends. Occasionally we spin the hideous wheel of fish for some major prizes. The wheel of course is continually stocked with the finest fish and fish by-products available in this price range. Count on Chef Ptomaine to whip up some of his seafood delights like barnacle chowder and shark fondue. We hope you find your way upstream to the Café Rock and fishead Friday..oddly enough every Friday from Noon-1pm here at the Eagle.
