96.9 The Eagle's 2nd Annual Biker Bash and Poker Run was held on Sunday, September 17th, 2006 to benefit Teresa Cummings, receptionist at the radio station, who (at the time) was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. The proceeds raised from the event went to help defray the medical costs for Teresa. The event was held at the Sacramento Horsemen's Club and included performances from The Frank Hannon Band, Nothin' Personal and the Fryed Brothers.

A Night of Laughs Win a pair of tickets to "A Night of Laughs" at the Dante Club on Sunday, September 7th. This is a comedy benefit for the Domestic Violence Intervention Center.
